Y15 hydrochloride, also known as FAK Inhibitor 14, is a direct FAK autophosphorylation inhibitor, blocking phosphorylation of Y397 with an IC50 value of about 1 M. Y15 decreases viability, clonogenicity, and cell attachment in thyroid cancer cell lines and synergizes with targeted therapeutics. Y15 was shown to decrease cancer growth in vitro and in vivo.
