Pantothenate kinase-IN-3 (also known as Compound 21,https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.jmedchem.5c03452) is a specialized small-molecule PanK modulator designed to increase intracellular Coenzyme A (CoA) levels. It specifically targets pantothenate kinase 3 (PanK3) to elevate CoA, showing improved metabolic stability with a 0.87-hour half-life in mouse liver microsomes and over 2 hours in human liver microsomes.
